Reality star-turned-model Kendall Jenner has just landed herself a major endorsement title.
As announced on the Estée Lauder website, the 19-year-old is now the cosmetic brand's newest model. As one of the global faces of the popular fashion company, Jenner brings with her a pretty strong following of young consumers as she along with the rest of her family, are household names.
Vogue noted that the Jenner found out about the news via a text message and kept it on the down-low until she started to post images over her Instagram account with a strong 16 million follower count.
"It honestly feels like a dream to represent such an iconic beauty brand - it is an incredible honor and quite humbling," she shared in a statement via Just Jared.
"I found out when I was backstage at Paris fashion week, and all this time I've had to keep the news top secret. I am so excited to share it now and be part of Estée Lauder," added the young model.
In one of her newly released publicity shots, Kendall shared a fierce photo of herself atop a motorcycle as she looks off to the side showing off a strong facial profile and short hair style.
"I am super excited to announce that I am the new face of @esteelauder!! check out https://www.esteelauder.com/kendall to see more...I still can't believe it myself," posted the celebrity as a caption.
Speaking on the addition of Kendall to the Estée Lauder family, "She is the ultimate instagirl, and we are excited to leverage her image, voice, energy and extraordinary social media power to introduce Estée Lauder to millions of young women around the world," said Estée Lauder Global Brand President Jane Hertzmark Hudis.
This is the latest milestone in Kendall's expanding career portfolio that has established Jenner as one of fashion's IT girls.
NY Daily News noted that this year alone, Jenner has appeared "in shows for high-end designers including Chanel, Marc Jacobs and Givenchy."
The "Keeping Up With The Kardashian" star joins the ranks of other Estée Lauder faces that include Gwyneth Paltrow and Elizabeth Hurley.
