The Celebrity Neighborhood in the Hamptons

The Hamptons is similar to the night sky, it is full of Hollywood stars. Here is a short list of some celebrities who have a place in the Hamptons.

Jerry Seinfeld owns a 12-acre property in East Hampton, formerly owned by Billy Joel. The property costs $32 million and includes a guesthouse, a pool and a bathhouse as well. Seinfeld loved the laid-back atmosphere of the place that matches perfectly their laid-back life.

The famous director, Steven Spielberg, owned a retreat house known as the Quell Farms. His home sits on several acres of land, plus he owned several acres more in front of his property. It is also said that the filmmaker has recently donated more than seven acres of his property to the local land trust to be protected from future property development on the Long Island's South Fork.

Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin were based in London, but they wanted a home that had a big space and a lot of privacy. The ex-couple purchased a 7,000-square-foot vacation home in the Hamptons back in 2007 for $5.4 million. The couple and their two children spend most of their downtime in the place.

Sean Combs, more commonly known as P. Diddy, is much known in the Hamptons for hosting a yearly summer white party which is by invite only. The criteria for the invitation is being a top star and being super rich. Invited guests are asked to wear an all-white attire, and for those who cannot, are simply turned away.

Renee Zellweger, being a modest star, got herself a four-bedroom old-fashioned farmhouse style home. It is very rustic and homey and is a perfect place to relax and unwind.

Last, but not the least, Sir Paul McCartney also has a charming home in the Hamptons. The country, old farm styled home is hidden among the trees that provides all the privacy he needs.
