Celebrity Homes: Hottest Celebrity Properties for Sale in 2015

2015 real estate sector the world over has seen a lot of great deals but let us keep it close to home.

In the United States, celebrities such as Miley Cyrus, Johnny Depp and Tyler Perry made great real estate deals last year, according to Cleveland.com, when they put up their mansions for sale.

As compiled by Top Ten Real Estate Deals.com, the following are the five of the hottest celebrity properties that were listed in the market in 2015.

Johnny Depp's French Village: Build in the 1800s, it was bought in 2001 located 17 miles north of St. Tropez and covers 37 acres. It was listed for $25.76 million and sold for $25 million.

Property description: With 10,760 square feet of living space, the property has 12 bedrooms and 12 bathrooms, a main house, guest cottages, a chapel, bar and restaurant, a workshop/garage and a staff house, pirate-themed wine cellar and a skate park.

Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch: The place has been restyled and designed the way it was in 1982. The price tag is $100 million and still at the market.

Property description: The main house at 12,000 square feet has rooms of large scale containing formal rooms, fireplaces, a comfortable but commercially functioning eat-in kitchen, hardwood floors from an 18th century French villa, six bedrooms including a master suite complex on two levels. There is a four-bedroom guesthouse, a two-bedroom guesthouse, 50-seat movie theater with private balcony and stage, and a four-acre lake with waterfall. There are numerous structures on the property including several barns, animal shelter facilities, corrals and a maintenance shop.

Miley Cyrus' Tuscan Mansion: This is the home the family lived in while filming "Hannah Montana."  Cyrus put it up for sale last year since the family has moved back to Tenessee. It was sold at $5.9 million, the same asking price.

Property description: It was designed and built in 2007 by architect Bob Easton. At 8,700 square feet on just under an acre, the Tuscan-style home has six bedrooms, seven baths, grand entry foyer with curved staircase accented with wrought iron and formal rooms that open to views of the pool and lush landscaping. There is a large chef's kitchen, family room, home theatre and guitar display room. Built on two levels, the master suite has a rooftop terrace with fireplace and large walk-in dressing rooms.

President Barrack Obama's Vacation Home: This is the place where the President takes his family for vacation, a favorite called Martha's Vineyard. It was first listed at $22.5 million has been reduced to $19 million.

Property description: Originally built in 1961, the house had a complete redesign in 2006. The home on almost 10 acres is contemporary design. A special perk for the president is the half basketball court and home gym. There is a heated infinity pool and a private boat dock on a pond. The 6,967-square-foot main house sits 120 feet above sea level and features six bedrooms and seven baths including a private master suite with its own den. The open floor plan includes pool, pond and ocean views from the chef's kitchen, living room and dining room. There are three fireplaces, custom millwork, marble baths and floor-to-ceiling windows. Also on the property is a two-bedroom guest house.

Tyler Perry's Atlanta Home: Tyler is the creator of character Madea and the hit TV series "Tyler Perry's House of Payne." He has acquired other properties and one of them is more than 1,000 acres which is also in Atlanta area. The home is still listed at $25 million, the original price.

Property description: The French provincial mansion is perched atop 17 acres with views over the Chattahoochee River. The 34,688-square-foot home has seven bedrooms and 14 baths, stately formal rooms, a two-story library, infinity-edge swimming pool, lighted tennis court on top of a two-story parking garage, fully equipped gym, spa, theater, hobby house and an underground ballroom with catering kitchen.
