Celebrity Homes: Walt Disney President Mike Ovitz Checks Out Tadao Ando Penthouse

Walt Disney President and co-founder of Creative Artists Agency Mike Ovitz recently checked out a real estate property located in Tadao Ando 152 Elizabeth Street for $15.2 million, a report from New York Post said.

According to the report, Ovitz has signed a contract for a unit in the fifth-floor with an asking price of $15.2 million. It was noted that the asking price "marks a non-penthouse record for Nolita." The condo unit is reportedly not officially listed in the market yet. It is actually a four-bedroom duplex that has a spacious outdoor area.

The real estate property was designed by the famous architect Tadao Ando who was an awardee of the Pritzker Prize, the highest award-giving body that recognizes and honors living architects whose craftsmanship exhibits the highest contribution for both humanity and environment via the art of architecture.

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Michael Ovitz, a famous American talent agent, has a net worth of $400 million.

"Ovitz is best known as the co-founder of Creative Artists Agency (CAA) in 1975 where he served as chairman until 1995. Ovitz became known as the most powerful man in Hollywood. He later served as president of the Walt Disney Company between 1995 and 1997. Ovitz founded CAA with fellow William Morris Agents Ron Meyer, Bill Haber, Rowland Perkins and Mike Rosenfeld," the report said.

Deadline reports that Ovitz is expected to land in major dailies this year after a 2004 lawsuit filed against him in an alleged incident.

"The subsequent investigation - with allegations of computer hacking, illegal wiretapping, threats and harassment - eventually ended up at the feet of private investigator Anthony Pellicano, who was working of behalf of Ovitz," the report said.
