Alan Gladstone Net Worth: Former CEO of Anna's Linens Sells Newport Coast Mansion For $10M

Anna Linens founder and ex-chief Alan Gladstone is selling his luxurious real estate property located in New Port Coast for $9.9 million. Gladstone's residence sits in a 7,043-square-foot lot, a report from OC Register said.

According to the report, Gladstone's real estate property was built back in 1996. The property is a two-story residential building that has four bedrooms. Future owners of the house can enjoy the panoramic and overlooking views of both the Pelican Hill golf course and the Pacific Ocean from the home.

"Interiors include four hand-carved, limestone fireplaces, venetian plaster, coffered ceilings, a wine cellar, library, and a master suite with a seating area. A saline pebble tech pool, barbecue pavilion, and outdoor bar fill out the nearly-half acre setting," the report said.

According to property records, the two-story real estate property has been introduced in the market with the price of $10.9 million in October last year. Gladstone bought the property for $6.1 million in 2010 after the asking price on the market underwent a sharp decrease. The property is being managed by listing agents Rex McKown and Marcy Weinstein of Surterre Properties.

Bloomberg reports that Gladstone served Anna Linens, Inc. as the company's Chief Executive Officer from July 1987 to January 2014. Aside from his stint in the company, he also served as the president of HomeFront, a division of U.S Shoe Corporation, which is a specialty retailer.

"From 1970 to 1973 Mr. Gladstone was employed by Whitefront Stores, a discount chain, through their management-training program and as a buyer of domestics. From 1973 to 1982, he  was Senior Vice President, General Merchandising Manager and Director of Three departments, Inc., a 100 store domestics chain which operated inCalifornia as Three D Bed & Bath," the report said.
