Celebrity Real Estate News: NHL Hall of Famer Sergey Fedorov’s Luxury Penthouse in South Beach Purchased by a Russian Investor

The Penthouse 3 (PH3), the highest penthouse unit in South Beach that was owned by the NHL Hall of Famer Sergey Fedorov since 1997, including for a short time by Anna Kurnikova, was purchased by an undisclosed Russian buyer being represented by the Miami Luxury Real Estate LLC.

The PH3, a 5,640-square-foot unit on four levels/floors that has an additional 1,825 square feet on two terraces, was bought by a Russian investor for $11,000,000 or $2,000 per square foot.

According to the press release of the Miami Luxury Real Estate LLC in Business Wire, Russians and other international investors are comfortable putting their money in Miami, Florida due to the stability of the U.S. dollar, as compared with other foreign currencies that have significantly decreased in value. At, present Russian investors are the fifth in rank, followed by Ukrainians, in the top ten buyers of luxury real estate in Miami.

"Our clients purchase primarily in the $1-$50 million range. We are currently working with several HNWIs from Russia that are looking to purchase a penthouse in Miami in the $10-$50 million range," said Daniel Pansky of the Miami Luxury Real Estate. "We also specialize in working with celebrities and sports professionals," added Pansky.
