Celebrity Real Estate: Sylvester Stallone’s La Quinta Home Listed for $4.199M

   The million dollar La Quinta home of award-winning actor Sylvester Stallone has once again popped-up in the listing with a price tag amounting to $4.199 million.

            The property is listed in Hurwitz James Company and is being represented by Josh Reef.

            According to the listing, the 19,602-square-foot property is located in 52945 Humboldt Boulevard, La Quinta, California. It features 5,173 square feet of living space as well as four bedrooms, four full bathrooms, a powder room, a formal dining room, a wine cellar, a breakfast nook, a great room, and an entertainment center that has a fireplace and a wet bar.

           The Los Angeles Times reported that the property was built in 2008 and combines Spanish and Mediterranean elements. The interior of the property is adorned with wood shutters, wood ceilings and granite slab counters. Two of the bedrooms are master suites that come along with stone fireplaces, wet bars, walk-in closets and dual vanities. The exterior of the property features a custom-designed swimming pool area which has a spa and overlooks a rock creek and a green belt. A fire pit and a barbecue center is also available on the outside.

            According to the report of Variety, Stallone bought the property in Jan. 10, 2010 for $4.5 million. This is not the first time that the said property was made available in the market. The first time that the luxury estate appeared in the listings was in 2011 and had an asking price of $4.3 million but has since rose to $4.5 million within 10 days. Then in 2014, the property once again emerged in the market with a much lower value of $4.2 million. 

            Stallone, 69, is known for his unforgettable role of playing the boxer Rocky Balboa in the 'Rocky' series that started in 1976. He also starred in the 'Rambo' series and in 'Expendables.' The seventh installation of the 'Rocky' series entitled Creed is set to show this year.
