Chris Bosh Discounts Miami Mansion to $12.5 Million

Chris Bosh, the power forward of NBA team "Miami Heat", just gave his Miami mansion a pricechopper, listing it for $12.5 million.

Bosh put the residence on market for $14.5 million in July. Failing to snag a buyer in the past few months, Bosh has decided to knock off a couple of million dollars from the price tag to sweeten the deal.

This is the same home that Bosh put up for rent asking $45,000 a month in January, last year. Donald Glover, the "Community" actor, leased the residence for a while.

Bosh purchased the Pacific Palisades home with wife Adrienne in December 2012 for $9.4 million, but used it as a spare home.

Listing records of the home state that it is a Mediterranean style villa spread across 10,755 square feet on a 1.5 acre lot.

The place is comprised of six bedrooms and eight bathrooms with a gourmet kitchen and separate staff quarters.

Along with the aforementioned features, the home also boasts of a screening room, a billiards room, a huge office/library and a modern fitness center and spa. The master suite features dual baths and walk-in closets. A wet bar separates the living room from the games room as well.

The place also offers scenic views of the ocean and has elaborate exteriors. The home has a shady veranda with an outdoor fireplace. The backyard has many tented pavilions that surround the infinity pool and a swim-up bar. An outdoor kitchen, eating space, sauna and a shower complete the exteriors.

The listing describes the place as a "luxurious villa" that is located in a "gated and fenced" are "at the top of the knoll in Palisades Highlands."

"This type of property rarely comes on the market, a must see," it added.

In 2010, Bosh and his wife bought a mansion in the Miami area for $12.3 million, which is their current residence. That modern mansion is a huge 12,368 square feet gated property featuring seven bedrooms and eight bathrooms with a private dock.

Earlier this year, Bosh purchased a condo in the Ritz Carlton Residences in Dallas for $3 million. Apparently, the place was once owned by Jap Van Zweden, the Dallas Symphony Orchestra Maestro, and his best buddy violinist Michael Guttman. The two reportedly owned it together.

On the work front, Bosh has stepped into the limelight now. Rookie player James Ennis started off the 2014-15 season with a brilliant dunk and Bosh and his teammate Dwayne Wade took charge to lead the Heats to their first seasonal win against the Washington Wizards at 107-95 in Wednesday's game.
