Johnny Bench Lists Rancho Mirage House for $1.19 Million

Johnny Bench, the veteran MLB player, has reportedly listed his mansion estate in Rancho Mirage, Calif., for $1.19 million.

Bench and his wife reportedly purchased the home in 2006 for $1.39 million, The Los Angeles Times reported citing intel from Celebrity Aerial Address.

The residence is being marketed by Susan Winters of Windermere Real Estate.

The mansion spans an area of 3,598 square feet and is comprised of four bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms.

Interiors of the house feature plush hardwood flooring, high ceilings with exposed wood beams and large glass windows and slider doors.

Encompassed in an open floor plan, living spaces include a living room, a dining room, a kitchen with a large breakfast bar and granite counter tops and a family room as well. Other features include mini bars, an office, a great room, a walk-in pantry and a guest suite.

Outside, the home has a putting green, two pools with a spa attached to one of them, open patios, garden and lounging areas and a parking garage as well.

The listing description reads:

The 66-year-old baseball catcher started off his career in the MLB in 1967 with the Cincinnati Reds and played with the team until his retirement. Johnny Bench is a 14-time All Star winner, a two-time world series champion and a ten-time golden globe award winner.

Bench was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1989.
