‘Marvel’ Mastermind Stan Lee Selling Los Angeles Home for $3.75 Million

Stan Lee, the man who took "Marvel" comics to a completely different level, has reportedly put his home in Hollywood Hills, Los Angeles, for sale asking $3.75 million for the property.

The Los Angeles Times broke news of the sale noting that Linda May of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage is the listing agent.

Located on an exclusive lot of Bird Street, the residence spans an area of 2,500 square feet and is comprised of four bedrooms and six bathrooms.

Currently, there is only one photo available on the Multiple Listing service (MLS) that shows a pool with a spa and gives an exterior peek of the residence that was built in 1945.

Property records show that Lee purchased the home for $3.59 million in 2006 and considering the asking price - isn't looking for much of a profit on the sale.

The listing describes the place as:

"Walled and gated extremely private corner lot in exclusive "Bird" streets. Located at the end of a cul-de-sac in lower Doheny, this property offers an amazing opportunity for someone to build/develop their dream home. Amenities include: motor court, pool, lush gardens and red-bricked pathways. OPPORTUNITY KNOCKS!!!"

Stan Lee is best known for creating legendary superheroes like "Spiderman", "Iron man", "Thor" and the "X: Men". He has also created an Indian superhero called "Chakra: the Invincible" and is currently in talks of making a live-action movie on the eastern superhero, according to several reports.

"We've set up some great meetings already with some of the most amazingly talented actors and directors in Indian cinema, and I have no doubt that these individuals will help make the Chakra film a massive hit in India and around the globe," Lee told The Hollywood Reporter.
