Throwback: 'Baywatch' Hunks And Babes, Where Are They Now?

Whether you were already born in the 19th century, specifically 1989 or not, it's pretty much sure that you've heard of the TV Show "Baywatch" which broke the television screens back in the '90s.

Debuted in 1989, "Baywatch" was a collaborative creation of Michael Berk, Douglas Schwartz and Gregory J. Bonann which featured steamy, hunk lifeguards who save lives and patrol a crowded recreational beach.

Those who didn't get to follow its 242 episodes and 11 seasons aired on TV back then, will surely have a lot of picking up to do. But, lest you don't know the whereabouts of our then hunks and babes who turned international superstars after the show, or haven't really met them because you just came to the world in the 21st Century, Old Cat Lady will help you in this meet and greet.

Peter Phelps

Phelps started in "The Restless Years" as a soap opera star but finally grasp his big break when he became one of the "Baywatch" lifeguards. However, Phelps in the character of Trevor Cole jumped ship soon enough when he left the show after the first season. He returned to his native land Australia and was busy with his participation in movies "Stingers" and "Lantana" where he was awarded Most Popular Actor and Best Supporting Male Actor Nominee, respectively. This former lifeguard of "Baywatch," who is now 55, enjoys a comfortable life with his two children and wife, Donna.

David Hasselhoff

Before reigning as the biggest star of "Baywatch," Hasselhoff already have had his big break in television shows "The Young and the Restless" and assumed the lead role in "Knight Rider." Taking the character of Mitch Buchannon, David was a fan favorite all through out the nine seasons, which gave him more confidence to accept the offer to star in "Baywatch Nights" and "Baywatch Hawaii." However, David knew exactly that "Baywatch" won't last forever so he accepted significant roles in films, TV shows, even Broadway. The 63-year-old then hunk of "Baywatch" underwent plastic surgery which is already a given for a once "most watched man on television," a multi-awardee of Guiness World Records. Isn't that amazing?

Carmen Electra

Originally Tara Leigh Patrick, Carmen played as Lani McKenziee on "Baywatch" in 1997. Long before this major big break, Carmen already had a skyrocketing career as a dancer, model, singer and actress. She had a sizzling, hot modeling stint as the cover girl of "Playboy." Like Phelps, Electra did not stay longer enough in the show as her Lani role only lasted for a year. However, this stunning actress was never idle for a long time as she has been very busy with her special guestings on "Britain's Got Talent" as judge.

Pamela Anderson

Tagged as the "Centennial Baby" in Canada's 100th Anniversary Celebration, Anderson had been famous since birth. Her bubbly and stunning stance made it easy for her career to skyrocket which started in "Jumbotron" and "Playboy 1989" as beer T-shirt and magazine cover model. She then headed to Los Angeles and took on the role of CJ Parker in "Baywatch." After the show's five seasons, Anderson had guestings in reality shows "Dancing with the Stars" and "Big Brother." Even at the age of 48, Anderson still remains the gorgeous babe of "Baywatch." She believes that she is still young at heart and mind which inspires her to be an advocate for the legalizing of marijuana, AIDS and animal rights.
