‘Suicide Squad' Spoilers & Release Date: New Synopsis Reveals Who The Real Villain In The Movie Is

The new synopsis for "Suicide Squad" may have revealed who the group will be fighting in the movie when it is released in 2016.

According to Movie Pilot, the new synopsis for "Suicide Squad" may have dropped a few hints about the plot of the movie and the ultimate villain that the group will have to face. According to the site, the story is about U.S. intelligence officer Amanda Waller who was determined to create a despicable group of individuals in order to defeat an "enigmatic and insuperable entity."

At this point, many fans speculate that the "insuperable entity" that was mentioned in the synopsis could be the Joker, to be played by Jared Leto. The site believes that this makes sense because until now it was revealed that the Joker's role was limited only to flashbacks.

It was earlier reported that some speculate that the Joker might be causing some trouble, and the Suicide Squad will need to eliminate him. On the other hand, other fans speculate that the villain might be the Enchantress as she has not been seen in any group shots and even in the trailer. In the comic books, a human girl named June Moon explored a haunted house where she was possessed by a powerful being and became the Enchantress.

Movie News Guide reports that the Suicide Squad is made up of members who had nothing to lose, which made them the best weapons for any kind of threat. One of the reasons why the squad was formed was the government believes that they won't hesitate to kill, considering their villainous nature, unlike other DC characters like Batman or Superman who are dedicated to saving people's lives.

As of writing, there is still no solid evidence who the real villain in the movie is, and fans will have to wait until "Suicide Squad" premieres on Aug. 5, 2016.
