‘D.Gray-man’ Goes Back To The Small Screen in 2016; Official Website of the New TV Series Launched, Key Visual Released

"D.Gray-man" will hit the small screen again in 2016. The official website of the new TV series has already been launched to promote its PV.

Jump Festa event in Chiba has been hosted last Sunday. According to the report of Anime News Network, the announcement of "D.Gray-man" getting a new anime series was revealed during the said event.

Sheisha said that the TV anime adaptation of Katsura Hoshino's "D.Gray-man" manga series will premiere sometime in 2016. It was also mentioned in the event that Shueisha has already launched the official website for the new animation series.

At the moment, the promotional video of "D.Gray-man" has already been streamed in the said website. It is also posted in the website the voice actors that will take part in the roles of the new anime series. The name of Ayumu Murase, who played the role of Shōyō Hinata in "Haikyu!!'," has already been mentioned, and he will play the role of the lead character Allen Walker.

Aside from Ayumu Murase, Shinnosuke Tachibana, who is famous for his role as Peroroncino in "Overlord," will give voice to the character of Howard Link in "D.Gray-man."

ANN also reports that key visual has also been revealed in the website including in its official twitter account. As noted, the tagline came with the key visual, and it reads, "I want to live. Even if I destroy you." Check it below.

The first animation of "D.Gay-man" was aired in 2006 until 2008. There were 103 episodes that were run for that span of time.

Crunchyroll reveals that during the first run of "D.Gray-man" anime series, the role of Allen Walker was performed by Sanae Kobayashi. The role of Howard Link was also portrayed by Daisuke Kishio.

Report recalls that the manga was first serialized in 2004 up to 2009 via Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump. Katsura Hoshino took 2 and half years of break, then when came back, the manga series has been "running in Jump SQ.CROWN since July of this year. So far 24 tankobon volumes have been published in Japan and its total print run has reached 20 million copies."
