"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" pressed a dirty turn for the viewers on its release. Kylo Ren head towards becoming a villain on "The Force Awakens." One of the questions that "Star Wars" diehards are asking is why? and how come? "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" director J.J. Abrams reveals the answers for Kylo Ren's turn.

According to Inquisitr, Director J.J. Abrams spoke in his interview with IGN and opened up with Kylo Ren's becoming the villain. "Internal conflicts" and an apparent ultimate "power" are the keys that empower Kylo Ren becoming a great villain. Abrams also explained the similarity that Kylo Ren have with young individuals being "misguided" and having "unclear" paths.

"An incredible power. An incredible Force and an incredible potential, that was like with many young people sort of misguided and unclear. The story for him is one of conflict - not just external conflict, but internal conflict, and it's what makes him, I think, an interesting villain," Abrams explained.

Apart from these pointers, Abrams also stressed out how Darth Vader, Rylo Ken's grandfather, became one of the biggest influence on the villain and how he aimed to continue what Darth Vader started.

"Kylo Ren idolizes Darth Vader, not Anakin Skywalker. He idolizes what Vader represents and what Vader was trying to do," Abrams said based from the article. "The idea that Vader didn't succeed, if you look at it from Ren's point of view, he was seduced by the enemy and failed because of that seduction. So the idea is that Ren wants to complete the thing that Vader started."

Meanwhile Adam Driver, the actor who portrayed the controversial "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" character Rylo Ken, shares his notion regarding his portrayal and says how he is not even close enough as the big villain, Darth Vader.

"I feel there's a recklessness about him that's maybe not normally associated with the Dark Side."

Driver even added from Telegraph, "You normally think of order, and structure, and full commitment and no hesitation...he's just a little bit more unpolished. It's in his costume, in his lightsaber - how you kind of get the sense that it could just not work at any moment; that it could just blow up. That's kind of like a big metaphor for him."
