'One Piece Special: Adventure of Nebulandia' Launch as a Regular Anime Series; Podcast Teases What to expect of Movie and Manga

"One Piece" News has been filled from anime series, manga, and special animation like in films. One of the fresh news is about "One Piece Special: Adventure of Nebulandia," which has been launched as a regular anime series. The podcast of the franchise also reveals about the things to expect in the manga and Gold Film.

Crunchyroll reports the synopsis of "One Piece Special: Adventure of Nebulandia." The description reads: "Luffy and the Straw Hats must face their former Davy Back Fight competitors on the mysterious island of Nebulandia - whose fog renders devil fruit powers useless. Foxy also has some new tricks up his sleeve, in the form of three new crewmembers. Do the Straw Hats stand a chance without their devil fruit abilities?"

According to Anime News Network, the anime special of "One Piece" will also be streamed by Crunchyroll. However, it doesn't reveal when it would launch.

ANN says that when FUNimation had made the announcement last Friday that the special would premiere on that day on Japanese broadcast, it also mentioned about a simulcast streaming after the debut. A promotional video of "One Piece Special: Adventure of Nebulandia" had also been streamed by the American entertainment anime licensing company.

As per report, "One Piece Special: Adventure of Nebulandia" aired on Fuji TV on Saturday. It was slated on 9:00 p.m. until 11:10 p.m. JST. It was also noted that the storyline of the special anime series was completely original. The setting took place on a "Devil Fruit blocking" fog island.

As for the podcast, it is revealed that the news "teases information on 'One Piece Film: Gold' and what to expect next in the manga." Report states that Eiichiro Oda has graced the "One Piece Super Stage Events." Despite his own pronouncement 2 years ago that he would never appear again in any future events, he still managed to show up and reveal information about the film and the manga.

In the "Jump Festa One Piece Super Stage Event," Eiichiro Oda said that Luffy would have a new appearance since the main character will be wearing a cowboy hat and sunglasses for the "One Piece Film: Gold."

As for the "One Piece" manga, Oda disclosed that Sanji's origin story will be revealed. Avid readers of the manga series would also know the story behind the wanted poster of Sanji.
