Scott Gomez, the famous ice-hockey center, has reportedly put his Chelsea, New York City, apartment on the rental market asking $23,000 a month.
The New York Post broke news of the apartment being available for rent. The penthouse condo has hosted several celebrity residents who leased the property for various periods of time.
The Post notes that fashion designer Marc Jacobs leased the place once upon a time and so did one-time pop sensation Nick Jonas of the Jonas Brothers.
The residence in question here is 2,062-square-foot condo apartment located atop the Chelsea Mercantile at 252 Seventh Avenue.
The residence has three bedrooms and three bathrooms. Floor plans of the house show the entrance opening into a huge living area with an open concept modern kitchen. A guest bedroom sits right next to the living area.
The master bedroom has an en-suite luxury bathroom and huge walk-in closets. The home also provides for an open rooftop deck that features panoramic views of the city's skyline and ample entertaining space.
The residence is being offered fully furnished and apparently "features every imaginable convenience for the most discerning resident while the expansive furnished terrace features a full kitchen, entertainment system and sweeping city views of the Hudson and Downtown skyline a perfect setting for cocktail parties."

Building amenities include concierge and doorman services, a gym, a children's playroom as well as garage parking facilities.
Gomez is currently an unrestricted free agent and has been attending New Jersey Devil's training camp for the upcoming season. Gomez played 46 games with the Florida Panthers last season and his techniques have caught the Devils' eyes who may take him aboard.
"He (Gomez) felt he still had a lot of hockey in him and he's been working out this summer so I told him to come to camp. There are no promises. We certainly know what he has the capability of doing," Devils general manager Lou Lamoriello told The Star-Ledger, according to NJ.com.
