HIMYM Star Alyson Hannigan and Husband Alexis Denisof Buys $8 Million Home In Brentwood

Star of hit TV series "How I Met Your Mother" Alyson Hannigan and her husband have found a new love nest in Brentwood that is as traditional as (guess what...) "American Pie", Trulia reports.

Hannigan, who is married to Guardians of the Galaxy-starring Alexis Denisof and to whom she's sharing the new house with together with their little ones, made the $8 million purchase of the four-bed, six-bath estate which is located within the confines of the posh Brentwood Park neighborhood.

Sitting in 26,000 square feet of land, the couple's new home is very much a classic American Traditional that boasts 6,484 square feet of space.

Walking into the main door, guests will be welcomed by the living room that is adorned by crown moldings and boasts hardwood floors that looks well with cozy stacked-stone fireplace. The couple can also let out their inner bookworms in the den where the library is located, which has its own fireplace and opens to a patio area. A vast formal dining room has its own chef kitchen with an oversized island that will be perfect for big or small preparations.

One of the house's main features is the spiral staircase which leads to three en-suite bedrooms. The lavish master bedroom sure doesn't fail to impress as it features the essentials of a luxury bedroom: sitting area, walk-in closet, oversized bathroom, and private balcony.

Should Hannigan's HIMYM co-stars decide to swing by, the 1,000 square feet one-bed, two-bath guesthouse is the ultimate crash pad. She should just hope that they don't stay forever once they enjoy their very own living room, Jacuzzi, fire pit, and sound system.

But looks like it is not the only estate that Hannigan and Denisof have in their real estate portfolio as they reportedly also have a three-bed, two-bath home in Sunny Santa Monica, CA. They were able to secure the 4,186 square feet lot in 2002 for $1.936 million.
