Kirsten Dunst’s SoHo Pad Available for Rent at $12,500 A Month

Kirsten Dunst, the "Spider Man" actress, has reportedly put her residence in the SoHo neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City, for rent asking $12,500 a month.

The New York Daily News broke news of the rental noting that Dunst purchased the house in 2007 for $3.09 million. She purchased the house because she wanted a break from Los Angeles and wanted to start afresh after her stint in rehab.

Dunst sought rehabilitation help following her break up with Johnny Borrell, the frontman of "Razorlight". The couple dated only for six months.

"Johnny flatly told her he was heading back to London and didn't want to see her or talk to her anymore. Kirsten took this really hard, was emotionally devastated, and stayed inside for days, crying," a source told Daily Mail.

Dunst later revealed how awful her time in the rehab was.

"My friends and family were put in a position where they had to defend me, and it was an awful time," she recalled in an interview with BlackBook.

But moving to New York definitely seemed to help. Dunst renovated the residence completely after she purchased it.

Currently, the house boasts of huge arched windows, dark hardwood flooring, exposed-brick walls and high ceilings.

The residence is a two bedroom-one bathroom residence that has a formal living area, a dining room and a modern kitchen too.

The apartment is apparently being offered for a one-year full time lease but short term leases of six months at least are also being accepted.

The property has been listed with Douglas Elliman real estate and the listing of the residence describes it as:

"Breathtaking views of the Hudson from the exquisitely appointed top floor loft."

The home is "perched on top of one of the most iconic lofts buildings downtown," and the place "has been furnished with the finest mix of modern pieces and antiquities and shall appeal to the most sophisticated of palates."
