'Fifty Shades Darker' Star Jamie Dornan Thinks Dakota Johnson Is Perfect; Here's Why

"Fifty Shades Darker" star Jamie Dornan recently revealed the kind of relationship he has with his co-star Dakota Johnson.

In an interview with Vogue, Dornan said that Johnson is actually a very funny human being on and off set. The Irish actor added that his co-star is also "perfect."

"Dakota is very funny - and humor on a film set goes a long way. But she also had the ability to be a very strong dramatic actress. She'd be telling a joke one minute and breaking your heart on-screen the next - so she was perfect," he said.

Meanwhile, "Fifty Shades of Grey" ("FSOG") director Sam Taylor-Johnson gushed over Johnson and said that she  has always been brave ever since the first time she got to the set of the BDSM film.

"There are tough scenes in this movie. Scenes where she had to be naked - and not just in the flesh. But she was utterly fearless and brave," she said.

According to Johnson, she didn't have any qualms about going all out in "Fifty Shades of Grey" because she trusted Taylor-Johnson with her entire life.

"We have a very special connection. I trust her with everything. She has a very level head, and there was never really an anxious moment," she said.

Unfortunately, Taylor-Johnson will no longer direct the upcoming two sequels to "FSOG." The job has been handed over to "House of Cards" director James Foley.

In an interview with Empire Online, the 26-year-old actress admitted that she first felt intimidated when she saw Foley.

"It's quite exciting. There was a moment of being afraid, because I didn't know what it was going to be like. I had an experience with Sam and then that all went away. Now I'm excited. I think James is a talented filmmaker. How often do you get to reconvene with the same people and have a different spin?" she said.

"Fifty Shades Darker" is slated for release on Feb. 10, 2017.
