Lamar Odom Overdose: The NBA Player Needs $10M To Pay For Medical Bills

As Lamar Odom's stay in the hospital prolongs due to his overdose, the medical bills continue to pile up each day. His current bill is at $750,000, but it is projected that it might go up to $10 million by the end of the year -- a huge dent to his $55-million fortune. Although his professional basketball career has been raking in the money, his hospital bills are still just too huge to take lightly.

Ex-partner Khloe Kardashian is reported to be the one managing and making decisions for him in the hospital, and while she's only picking out the best treatments for him, he's scared that he might just be left with the huge hospital tab once he leaves the hospital and once Khloe leaves him. Insiders close to the NBA player shared that although the treatment has done miracles for his condition; no one is certain who's going to pay for it.

A recent report about the reality star said that he's still having difficulty remembering his own name. He's definitely dealing with memory loss, and he can't remember most people's names including his own. Khloe said at an interview with Ellen DeGeneres "we tell him that he had a brain injury, but we can't tell him how that brain injury was caused, because that will set him back. He never asks why he's here. He doesn't ask. He's really confused a lot -- sometimes he knows who the president is and his birthday, and sometimes he thinks he's 26, and I say, 'I bet you wish you were 26, so do I!'"

While updates indicate that he's not doing so great, his recovery and the fact that he's still alive just shows that he's fighting this condition like a trooper. The Kardashians and Jenners remain at his side during this ordeal, and they are there to support him all the way.
