Apple’s Eddie Cue Lists Los Altos House for $3.89 Million

Eddie Cue, one of the top executives of Apple Inc., the Cupertino-based tech giant, has reportedly listed his home in Los Altos, Calif., for $3.89 million.

Public records of the home show that the residence last sold for $2.93 million in 2004. The Realtor Blog first broke the news of the listing.

The house is a 3,721-square-foot single-family home, comprising of four bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms.

Sitting on a 0.42-acre lot, the house was built in 2004, which must mean Cue bought it when it was a fresh construction.

The home is a modern pad with high beamed ceilings, hardwood and carpeted flooring and French doors and windows.

Encompassed in an open floor plan is a formal living room with a stone fireplace and a kitchen area with granite counter-tops. There is a separate dining area, an official study and huge closets in the bedrooms.

Outside, the home offers ample recreation space with a backyard pool and cabana, an in-ground spa and a barbecue area. There is a three-car garage as well.

Ethel Green of Intero Real Estate Services has the listing, which describes the home as:

"Ultimate Calif living! Sought after design & floor plan. Culinary kitchen & fabulous great room! Office with access to backyard. Spacious master suite with 2 closets, overlooking backyard. Inviting living room w/fireplace and spacious dining room. Private yard with built in barbecue, with granite counter for entertainment seating, spa & swimmer's pool! 3 garage with storage."

Eddie Cue, the senior vice president of Internet Software and Services (iTunes and iCloud), was one of the driving forces that helped Apple seal its acquisition deal with Beats Electronics, the Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine-founded audio hardware firm. More recently, Cue said that Apple's upcoming products are going to be of better quality, in fact - the best in the last 25 years.

In May this year, Tim Cook purchased a Palo Alto home - right next to his primary residence - from Google's Bill Maris for $2.8 million.

Meanwhile, Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak's Los Gatos home is still asking $4.1 milion. Any takers?
