Miranda Kerr Buys Malibu Home for $2.1 Million

Miranda Kerr, the Victoria's secret model who split from husband Orlando Bloom recently, has splurged on a new Malibu bachelorette pad for $2.1 million.

The Real Estalker (via Variety) broke the news of the purchase, which comes amid a very public spat between Justin Bieber and Orlando Bloom had over her. Bloom punched Bieber in the face after he made a lewd comment about his and Kerr's broken relationship.

The new Malibu water-front residence is a perfect retreat for Kerr to seek refuge in, away from the hullabaloo and complications of her private life that the media is so hell bent on publicizing.

Kerr has been renting a house in Los Angeles after she and Bloom split. But looks like, the Australian model is already enjoying her time at the west coast. She recently posted a pleasant beach-side photo on Instagram captioning it "California dreaming."

Listing records of Kerr's new home state that the residence spans just a little more than 1,700 square feet, not too big for a celebrity like Kerr. The modern contemporary house has four bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms.

Interiors of the residence boast of stone-tiled and hardwood flooring, floor-to-ceiling glass and French windows and vaulted beamed ceilings.

Living spaces of the house include formal drawing and dining areas, a modern kitchen with a breakfast area, a "Jack and Jill" room and a roof-top water-facing deck.

Outside, there is a raised trellis-covered porch, a swimming pool with a pool house, a detached gym/office space and a covered two-car parking garage.

The listing described the place as:

"Serenity by the Sea-A magical oasis tucked in the trees, this beautiful home has breathtaking and panoramic whitewater ocean views. Peaceful and captivating, Serenity by the Sea is a private sanctuary just a short stroll from the sand."

Kerr apparently has another house in Australia. She and Bloom shared a Hollywood Hills house that was famously robbed by the Bling Ring Group. Bloom sold the house earlier this year for $3.9 million. The estranged couple also has an Upper East Side, NYC, house where they were bringing up their three-year-old son, Flynn, according to The Daily Mail.
