It is a sad news for all ‘Mob Wives’ viewers and spectators that the show will be officially cancelled after season 6. That means, there will only be one final season to watch.
The last season for casts Big Ang, Drita D' Avanzo, Karen Gravano and Karen Gravano is titled ‘Mob Wives: The Last Stand,’ which will premiere on Jan 13, 2016.
E! News reported that Nina L. Diaz, VH1 Senior Vice President for East Coast Production & Development, officially confirmed that season 6 of Mob Wives will be the last one. Moreover, she thanked the cast for opening up their lives to the public especially to the fans and for giving them "unprecedented access" to their secret worlds. In addition, she also extended her gratitude to them for trusting the network with their unique and moving stories.
Season 6, being the final season, will be focusing on the ‘individual lives’ of the cast outside the mob. According to Yibada, fans can expect to see a different side of the cast on being either a mother, wife, or entrepreneurs. This will leave a mark on the viewers because they can get to know their favorite characters more as they dive into the exploration of their lives away from the mob.
Renee Graziano will still be the apple of the show, now that she will be managing her daughter’s modeling career as she makes networks of connections to get her child the break she needed.
Moreover, one of the cast members, Drita D' Avanzo, will be writing a ‘tell-all memoir’ that will talk about her relationship with her husband. Her fans would even get a clearer glimpse about her life, not just during the Mob Wives days, but even before and after that.
Mob Wives is an American reality television series on VH1 that made its debut April 17, 2011. The show’s creator is Jennifer Graziano, sister of cast member Renee Graziano.
