The Blacklist Season 3' Spoilers: Will the Donald and Samar Spark Take on the Next Level When Season 3 Continues; Tidbits and Updates

The midseason finale of ‘The Blacklist Season 3’ left fans questioning whether the spark between Donald Ressler (Diego Klattenhoff) and Samar Navabi (Mozhan Marno) is just a temporary fling or will take on the next level when the season 3 continues.

The show will be returning to NBC n January 7, 2016. The showrunner Jon Bokenkamp told Entertainment Weekly, according to Yibada, that the tryst between Donald Ressler and Samar Navabi "being a one-time thing is not quite as simple as that."

"That is something that's going to linger over them and haunt them. The fallout from that will continue to ripple for a while," Bokenkamp added.

"It's one of those things that's hard to keep quiet. But yes, we're renewed through the fourth season.” NBC renewed the series for a fourth season on December 7, 2015.

One of the exciting part of the show in the upcoming episodes is the fact that Tony Shalhoub will be playing a guest role in the future episodes, according to EW.

The Blacklist is a crime drama TV series on NBC that has premiered on September 23, 2013. The show is about Raymond "Red" Reddington (James Spader), who is a former United States Navy officer that turned into a high-profile criminal and has voluntarily surrendered to the FBI after decades. Reddington has divulged a list of the most dangerous criminals in the world in return for immunity from prosecution. But, he insists working with amateur FBI profiler Elizabeth ‘Liz’ Keen (Megan Boone).

In the third season of The Blacklist, Liz is now a fugitive and on the run with Red. FBI creates a Task Force to hunt for the two, who are believed to be to be more dangerous since Liz is very well-versed with FBI operations and Red has resources everywhere.

Do you think that Donald and Samar will be having more scenes together in the coming episodes for a development in their relationship?
