Supermodel Heidi Klum Lists Renovated Brentwood Home for $25 Million (VIDEO TOUR)
Heidi Klum, the supermodel who is also a famous TV personality and home renovator, has reportedly put her Brentwood , Los Angeles, home for sale with an asking price of $25 million.
Klum reportedly purchased the Italianate villa with her ex-husband musician Seal for $14 million and also spent a lot of time, money and effort in converting the estate to its current glory.
"We worked extensively for over six months to replace every window, re-stain all the gorgeous woodwork, upgrade all the appliances and fixtures and designed dream closets," the supermodel and businesswoman told People magazine.
Recollecting her initial reaction about the estate (before she bought it), Klum said:
"When I first heard about this available property, I was a bit skeptical when I was told it had been empty for a long time. As a busy working mother with four young children, I was hoping to find a home that was essentially turnkey... I knew that homes that are unoccupied for any length of time do not always get the attention they need, and I wasn't looking for a project."
"By the time we finished, the house was as incredible as its grounds and views. Sometimes I sit in the garden, drinking my coffee, looking at the Pacific, and really feel it is a little piece of Heaven. I think others will love the house as much as I have," she added.
The home is listed with Lynn Teschner of The Agency real estate and it also has a website dedicated to it - "heidiklumestate.com."
According to the website, the home is a 12,300-square-feet, 8 bedroom-10 bathroom property. The multi-winged, double-storey property provides ample views of the ocean and the city.
Living space includes formal living and dining rooms, a family room, a library, a modern eat-in kitchen, an office, a media room and a temperature-controlled wine storage as well.
"Set on approx. 8.5 acres with approx. 3 acres of flat land, the grounds have ample recreational spaces for adults and children-infinity-edge pool and spa, koi pond, formal rose garden, fountains, lawns, gazebos, rolling green for golf putting and driving, children's playhouse and slide, secret gardens and hiking trails-all with unobstructed ocean views and complete privacy," the website states.

Late last year, Klum dropped $9.8 million on a Bel Air mansion. That residence is an 11,000-square-feet home, sitting on a 4-acre lot. Comprised of six bedrooms and nine bathrooms, the house is a mock-med style stone villa with formal interiors. Klum is currently renovating the home.
