‘Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans’ News: Kyle McCarley as Mikazuki in English Dub

"Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans" English dub has already revealed its casts. One of the cast members is Kyle McCarley who will play the role of Mikazuki.

Anime News Network reports that the name of Kyle McCarley came out when "Gundam" has posted in its global portal Facebook page the announcement. McCarley will be the voice actor for Mikazuki, the protagonist of "Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans."

ANN notes that the English dub of "Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans" will be produced by Sunrise together with the Bang Zoom! Entertainment. According to the report, the dub is slated for release in early 2016.

If recalled, "Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans" had premiered in Japan television on Oct. 4. The TV series of "Gundam" is also streamed online via Daisuki, Gundam.Info, and Hulu as it airs in the small screens. The episodes of "Iron-Blooded Orphans" are also being streamed via FUNimation and Crunchyroll, a week after they're aired.

According to Fandom Post, Kyle McCarley "doesn't have a huge number of anime roles under his belt." As a matter of fact, doing the voice for Mikazuki of "Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans" is the first main character role that he would be performing. However, his track record includes mostly Aniplex shows. His most recent project is with "Aldnoah.Zero and Durarara!! X2 where he came on as Aoba."

In addition, he also played the role of Shinji Matou in "Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited blade Works." It has also been noted that he did some "supporting roles in Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, Nagi no Asukara and Seven Deadly Sins as well."

Aside from Kyle McCarley, the Facebook Page of "Gundam" also announced that Johnny Bosch will play the role of Orga Itsuka.

"Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans" is directed by Tatsuyuki Nagai. The anime series is still following the source material written by Mari Okada. As for its character design, it will be handled by Michinori Chiba, which is also adapted from the work of Yuu Itou.
