Google to Soon Replace Gmail with "Inbox by Gmail?"

For quite some time now Google has been telling its Gmail account holders that Gmail will be replaced by a service or an app called "Inbox by Gmail."

Some may have encountered that little reminder, a pop up that appears saying, "Thanks for trying Inbox! To make it easier, we've updated Gmail to redirect you here." According to Forbes, that noted means that new service "Inbox" will have its own domain. But it's not that Google is already ending Gmail, those who do not want the new service can disable the feature, thus Gmail remains as the user's primary inbox. So now the question lies into how long Google intends to keep Gmail for those reluctant to transition to Inbox, even if there are those claiming there isn't realy much difference between the old Gmail service and "Inbox"

Will Gmail soon be gone for good? Gmail users should avoid being negative as the transition to "Inbox" could just be a move to update the trusty email service that has been in the business for more than a decade. According to Forbes, with "Inbox" Google might be able to incorporate more features to the email service such as smart recognition of images, tickets and reminders among others.

As written over https://www.google.com/inbox/, features include being able to "see updates, flight status, reservation details, and pictures even without opening the email message." And that is instant access to information the user wants to see. With "Inbox" the user can make use of Reminders which the website describes as "Add your to-dos to the top of your inbox. And even get a helping hand to get them done."

According to Design and Trend, Google has tried to introduce other similar service or apps in the past but one has yet to become successful and widely accepted. Have you tried "Inbox by Gmail," tell us what you think.
