'The Divergent Series: Allegiant' Star Theo James Confirms Wedding To Ruth Kearney Has Been Postponed; Fans Looking Forward to Shailene Woodley Reunion

"The Divergent Series: Allegiant" actor Theo James recently postponed his wedding to his long-time girlfriend Ruth Kearney.

There are rumors that their wedding was moved to a later date because James wants to be able to reunite with his co-star Shailene Woodley as soon as possible.

Since the filming for "Allegiant" wrapped up a couple of weeks ago, James and Woodley haven't had the chance to see each other.

Both lead stars previously said that they have a close relationship so fans immediately speculated that they could be missing each other a lot.

According to Movie News Guide, James may have also decided to postpone his wedding to Ruth Kearney because of all the other engagements he needs to focus on.

"The 30-year-old actor seems to have a lot on his plate right now in regards with his booming Hollywood career," the publication noted.

Meanwhile, the publication also claimed that Kearney didn't have any issues with James' desire to move their wedding to a much later date.

After all, Kearney has always been supportive and understanding of James.

In other news, James' Four and Woodley's Tris will be faced with new challenges in "Allegiant."

Just recently, book author Veronica Roth confirmed that Tris will be killed off towards the end of the trilogy, according to MTV News.

It was also confirmed that there will be no alternate ending especially in relation to the character's fate.

Fans have been asking Roth, as well as the producers of the film to rethink the ending of the trilogy.

However, Roth insisted that Tris' fate should remain intact as in the book because it is necessary for her character's development.

The book author added that any good hero who passes away signifies that they sacrificed his or herself for the sake of others.

"The Divergent Series: Allegiant" is slated to hit theaters in the United States on Mar. 18, 2016.
