Nintendo Direct December 2015: Dev To Announce New Details on ‘Pokémon Z,’ ‘Super Smash Bros DLC,’ ‘Minecraft Wii U’ And More

Game developer Nintendo is slated to make a big announcement today during the Nintendo Direct 2015 event. Recent reports suggest that the company will likely to reveal new details about some of its popular games like "Pokemon Z," "Super Smash Bros DLC," "Minecraft Wii U," among others, a report from iDigital Times said on Monday.

According to the report, both gaming websites Nintendo World Report and Nintendo Life claimed that Nintendo's announcement today will be certainly "big."

It can be recalled that earlier this month, Damon Baker, NOA Senior Manager of Licensing and Marketing, has shared some great news about today's event. "Speaking of announcements, I wish I could tell you guys, but stay tuned for Monday. Monday there's going to be something... something happening on Monday. It's going to be big," Baker said as quoted in Nintendo Life.

Listed below are the possible games that Nintendo will announce today as reported iDigital Times.

Pokémon Z

It was reported that Nintendo will make a big announcement about the "Pokémon Z," according to CoroCoro, a Japanese magazine. The publication claims that the company will release new details on December.

Super Smash Bros DLC

There's also speculation that Nintendo will eventually release new contents of the popular video game "Super Smash Bros." It was said that the game has only one character slot for another DLC. It can be recalled that the recent playable character that was introduced in the game is "Cloud Strife."

Nintendo NX News

Fans are also expecting that the company will announce new details about Nintendo NX. The company has previously announced that the new hybrid console will be officially unveiled next year.

Minecraft Wii U

Lastly, rumors have it that Nintendo will make an announcement about Microsoft's video game, "Minecraft" in Wii U. It was previously reported that the game's version of Wii U is expected to be available in November.

"The last place Nintendo made big announcements was last month's Nintendo Direct, which dropped news such as Twilight Princess HD and the revelation that Cloud of Final Fantasy VII would appear in Super Smash Bros. Another Nintendo Broadcast is scheduled for December based around Smash Bros., so the possibility remains that we could learn when Cloud and the Midgar stage releases or who the winners of the Smash Ballot are confirmed to be," Always Nintendo said.
