‘Better Call Saul’ Season 2 Spoilers: Trailer and Premiere Date Announced

One of the year's top series "Better Call Saul" will start streaming its second season on Netflix on Feb. 16, 2016 just after the show is aired on AMC. It is one of the rare shows that will get streamed and broadcasted on air.

The "Breaking Bad" spinoff prequel series "Better Call Saul" has earned the rare distinction of getting their show aired on television and then streamed on Netflix. According to Cross Map, right after every episode is aired on AMC, it will also be available for streaming on Netflix. The streaming giant says it will stream a new episode every week. The second season will reportedly have 10 episodes which is the exact same number of season one. However, it was also reported that AMC specifically ordered 13 episodes. Co-creator Peter Gould is adamant about season two being divided into ten episodes and refuses to elaborate further on what its implications are on the show's relationship with AMC.

Saul Goodman will still be played by Bob Odenkirk and Jonathan Banks will reprise his character Jonathan Banks. While it has yet to win an award, "Better Call Saul" has already been nominated six times for the Primetime Emmy Awards including the Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series.

Meanwhile, in a report by BBC, "Better Call Saul" is nominated for three Writers Guild Awards; drama series, new series, and episodic drama awards. The show is all about a questionable lawyer Saul Goodman who was first seen and introduced in "Breaking Bad." Its pilot episode which will be competing in the episodic drama category will go up against "Game of Thrones," "Veep," and "Mad Men."

The show will also go head to head with breakaway hit of the year "Mr. Robot" in the drama and new series categories. Other nominees are "The Americans," "Game of Thrones," and "Mad Men."
