'Fifty Shades Darker' Spoilers & Cast News: Jamie Dornan Unveils New 'Fifty Shades Of Grey' Sequel Details

"Fifty Shades Darker" star Jamie Dornan recently dropped new details about the upcoming "Fifty Shades of Grey" sequel.

In an interview with People Magazine, the Irish actor said that he is now more ready to reprise his role as Christian Grey for the big screen.

Only very few people knew who Dornan was when he appeared in "Fifty Shades of Gray (FSOG)." At that time, the actor said that he was still a bit nervous to play Christian because he also didn't have any idea how fans will accept him and his portrayal.

However, "FSOG" proved to be one of the most successful films of 2015, so Dornan is now ready to return to the franchise with so much confidence. The actor also said that he wants to be able to show fans a different side of Christian in the sequel.

Meanwhile, Dornan recently debunked rumors that the production for "Fifty Shades Darker" will be delayed. Some fans believe that Dornan's wife Amelia Warner isn't pregnant with their second child. If this were the case, Dornan doesn't have any reason to leave the set of "Fifty Shades Darker" when production begins early next year.

In other news, Design & Trend recently reported that there have been multiple changes in the production team for "Fifty Shades Darker." After Sam Taylor-Johnson left the franchise, James and her team found it difficult to tap a new director to join their pool.

A few months ago, "House of Cards" director James Foley was tapped to help "Fifty Shades Darker" and "Fifty Shades Freed." However, there were a lot of fans who questioned James' decision to tap a male director for the film. Cast member Dakota Johnson even said that she was scared to work with Foley at first but later on warmed up to him.

"Fifty Shades Darker" is slated to hit theaters in the United States on Feb. 10, 2017.
