‘Big Bang Theory’ Jim Parsons discounts Los Feliz home price; To list for $1.59 million

Jim Parsons, the "Big Bang Theory" star is reportedly chopping off the asking price of his Los Feliz home. Not only will the home get a new price tag but will also be listed with a new agent.

Parsons listed the home in January for $1.8 million. However, failing to sell the residence over the months, "Sheldon" has decided to start over from scratch. According to The Wall Street Journal, the home will now be listed with agent Juliette Hohnen of Hilton and Hyland, who describes the place as, "Sort of the perfect house for an up-and-coming celebrity, which is what he was when he bought the house," referring to Parson's starter days.

Previous listing records state that the home is a 2,827-square-foot single family house, with three bedrooms, two full and two half bathrooms. The two-story residence has dark, hardwood flooring with drywall ceilings and large floor-to-ceiling glass windows.

Interiors include a large living room, a modest gym, a huge dressing room, a separate dining area and a swanky eat-in kitchen. Outside, the house has a small garden area with seating. A large wooden balcony on the upper floor offers panoramic views of the area. The garden and courtyard is where Parsons held his parties. He in fact celebrated his 40th birthday in the house.

Parsons listed the home soon after he purchased Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart's shared love nest in Los Feliz for $6.3 million snagging a neat discount off the original asking price. That residence has three bedrooms and three bathrooms. The home offers beautiful views of the city and also has a swimming pool and a library.

Parsons shot to fame with his role in the CBS comedy "Big Bang Theory." The sitcom has had excellent ratings and viewership all around the world. It recently got renewed for three more seasons.

However, some tabloids are reporting that season "10" would be the end.

"I'm going to move forward along with [co-creator] Chuck [Lorre] that 10 is the end unless we're told otherwise," showrunner Steve Molaro told The Hollywood Reporter.

"These are decisions that are so far away I can't really even think about that. I have no choice but to move forward ... it's so far away...The mindset is it's going to be the 10 and then we'll see what happens after that."
