If you're Mariah Carey, you can probably have anything you want in life, but this diva always puts her family first no matter what.
Carey spent her Thanksgiving celebration with her twins, Monroe and Morrocan, and her ex-husband, Nick Cannon. She posted a sweet snapshot on her Instagram saying, "Happy Thanksgiving!"
The picture was also reposted in Cannon's Instagram. He captioned it with, "Repost @MariahCarey Turkey Day Swag! #Festive #FamilyFirst."
According to Rolling Out, Carey attended and performed her hit song "All I Want for Christmas is You" at the 89th Annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade earlier that day in New York City. The singer looked gorgeous in red while singing her most famous Christmas song.
Carey and Cannon seems to have parenting under control. The ex-couple have been celebrating family gatherings together. Last Halloween, Carey organized a family-friendly Halloween party on their rented Airbnb estate near Beverly Hills, as reported by E! News. The twins dressed as Batman and Batgirl. Carey's new boyfriend, Australian billionaire James Parker, also attended the party. It seems that everybody is in good relationship with each other. Cannon is also in full support of Carey's residency, entitled Mariah Carey Number 1's, at the Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas. The residency will conclude in February 2016.
Carey, 45, and Cannon, 35, announced their split after six years of marriage last August 2014. Cannon filed for divorce on Dec. 12, 2014. The two have remained close friends for their children. According to an interview with Cannon at the Meredith Vieira Show, he said, “It’s one of those things, I’m a hopeless romantic too. Through this learning process, you never say never. To me, one thing I know [is] that [she] will always be the love of my life, always be my family and that’s never going to change.”
