The Grammy Award winner singer-songwriter Sarah McLachlan has listed her 4.3 acres property in Whistler Canada for $10.1 million or 13.5 million Canadian dollars, LA Times reports.
Situated in the Stonebridge area of a resort town in British Columbia, the mezzo-soprano singer was reportedly very much involved in the building, design, and finish of her custom retreat house; a great bonus if you are a fan of hers and are looking to find a property around this area.
Outside, the boulder-lined driveway is directed towards the lodge-like stone-and-wood house that boasts a magnificent arching roof. Like a beautiful painting, it blends with the picturesque evergreen backdrop that turns into that of the inside of a Christmas snowball when the weather drops.
Past the main door is an open-plan area that houses the living and dining spaces. The vast and open space is given character by the massive stone fireplace in one spot, vaulted wood ceilings, and glass walls that invites the scenic view outside.
