Sports Power Couple News: Lindsey Vonn Still Loves Tiger Woods 6 Months After Breakup

Six months after the two athletes broke up, Lindsey Vonn opens up about splitting up with Tiger Woods and admits she still loves him.

The sports couple called it quits in May, citing their extreme hectic schedules as one of the reasons.

Speaking in a recent interview with CNN's "Alpine Edge," the 31-year-old skier confessed, "I loved him and I still love him," as she looked back on her relationship with the 39-year-old golfer.

"I had an amazing three years with him," Vonn further told CNN. "Sometimes things just don't work out and unfortunately it didn't work out for us. But I don't have any regrets and I think we're both in a pretty good place."

When asked if she is ready to enter a new relationship, Vonn said, "I don't know. I don't know if I'm ready to be in another relationship. I've realized that I only have, realistically, three good years of racing left. So it's kind of nice to be able to focus on that and my career."

"I'm enjoying just kind of focusing on myself right now."

Meanwhile, she also shared her desire to be a mother, which has an impact to how long she wants to stay in her career. "It's very frustrating. If I didn't want to have kids I could probably ski until my late thirties, if my body held up," Vonn told CNN.

Woods and Vonn met in 2012 in a charity event. They went public with their relationship in 2013. Lindsey was previously married to Thomas Vonn, a former skier. They filed a divorce in 2011 after four years of being together, which was finalized in January 2013.

Vonn is an alpine ski racer and has won four World Cup championships, plus seven World Cup titles among many wins she took home.
