‘NCIS’ Season 13 Episode 10 Recap: ‘Blood Brothers’

"NCIS" episode 10 for season 13 is called "Blood Brother" and will take the team into a race to find a suitable match for a bone marrow transplant of a navy man dying of leukemia.

The episode starts off with a scene in a hospital where a woman is having a conversation with her son who has leukemia. According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, the mother and son duo is talking about Rebecca, his sister who is doing a tour in Kandahar. The mother then tries to call Sean, his dying son's brother who is a possible match for a bone marrow donor. Unfortunately, a representative from the Marines came to see her and told her that Rebecca was killed in the line of duty.

Meanwhile, the team is discussing Thanksgiving dinner plans; McGee and Delilah are joining Abby for volunteer work while Tony has other plans. Ellie has decided to go home to Oklahoma and join her family. Her husband Jake has been trying to get in touch with her but she won't answer his calls.

Gibbs is called on by Secretary Vance on an urgent and sensitive matter. Leon tells him that they need to help Alex Quinn, a Marine Captain, dying of leukemia. They need to find his brother Sean who is nowhere to be found for about half a year.

In a recap by Entertainment Weekly, the team locates Sean who is involved in a counterfeiting ring. In a tragic twist, it turns out that Sean is not a match for a bone marrow transplant for Alex. They make a last ditch effort and found a match but the man is in prison and wants a reduced sentence in return. But after Gibbs and Bishop has a hearty talk, Ellie convinces the inmate to donate bone marrow and Alex's life is extended. Gibbs joined Bishop's family for Thanksgiving and goes back to headquarters with a renewed Bishop.
