Mariah Carey and Jennifer Lopez Beef: ‘Hero’ Songstress Talks About Epic Shade ‘I Don’t Know Her’; J.Lo Still Open To Reconciliation?

In an interview, Mariah Carey and Jennifer Lopez's beef is again opened up. To shed some light on the matter,  the "Hero" songstress talked about the famous line "I don't know her" in her most recent interview claiming she's just telling the truth.

Look's like there's a continuation of the 15-year shading and dissing memes of Mariah, 45, and Jennifer, 46.  Speaking with The Cut to promote her new MAC project, Nick Cannon's former wife explained why she said the line "I don't know her" with the "Booty" singer. Mariah and Jennifer's beef started in the 2000s and has escalated through the years. She claimed that she just told the truth that time.

"Recently? I don't know. [yawns] I'm sorry, I'm having a "sleep" moment...," Mariah said. "Well, there was a very interesting shirt that a fan made with a quote that I said years ago that, when I said it, I really wasn't trying to be funny. I was just being honest and everybody's kind of blowing it out of proportion but this guy had a shirt on and it was a picture of me that he made and the quote was underneath it -- and I'm going to leave you hanging as to what it was."

According to Bet, Mariah and Jennifer's beef began when the 45-year-old singer was asked about her thoughts about J.Lo and Beyonce.  In an interview with a foreign tabloid, she dished that the "Crazy in Love" singer is talented. However, she gave a surprising answer when she said she doesn't know Jennifer.

Meanwhile, when the "Love Don't Cost A Thing" singer appeared at the "Watch What Happens Live" on Andy Cohen's show last year, she addressed the rumored feud between her and Mariah that has been going on for years, according to E! News.

"I don't have a feud against her at all," Jennifer claimed. "I know from back in the day, I've read things that she's said about me that were not the greatest, but we have never met. Like, we don't know each other. I think it's kind of from word of mouth of things that have happened in the past that I'm not really aware of. But I don't know."

The "Selena" star claimed that she would still love to meet her and be friends with Mariah. She went on to say that she thinks that the "Without You" singer is incredibly talented adding she's a longtime fan of hers. Although Mariah and Jennifer's beef has been taken to the next level for the last 15 years, it seems that J.Lo has remained positive about things. In fact she confessed that Mariah's "My All" is her favorite.
