‘Arrow’ Season 4 Spoilers: New Villain 'The Calculator' to Appear in Episode 12; DC Comics Character Will Bring Back Roy Harper

"Arrow" season 4 will have something big for its viewers for episode 12, titled "Unchained." A new villain will be introduced which has something to do with Roy Harper's comeback.

In "Arrow" season 3, Colton Haynes' character Roy Harper faked his death in prison after taking the fall for Stephen Amell's character Oliver Queen as the masked vigilante. Haynes has not been seen in the series since, as he pursued other projects right after his two-year contract with the show ended, E! Online reported.

The writers of the show kept their doors open for Haynes if he ever decided to come back knowing that he enjoyed being part of the show. Recently, the 27-year-old actor took to Twitter to announce his return on "Arrow."

"Just landed in Vancouver to...BEGIN FILMING ON #ARROW AGAIN!!! So excited!!!" Haynes tweeted.

Viewers would have been happy if the reason for Roy's return is because of his friends or for Thea Dearden Queen (Willa Holland), his star-crossed lover, but the truth is much more mischievous. Reports say the character will come back to Star City to do a task from a criminal mastermind.

Actor Tom Amandes from "No Ordinary Family" and "Eli Stone" has been chosen to portray Noah Kuttler. He will appear as the new villain from DC Comics "The Calculator" who will help bring back Haynes' character to Star City in a story arc in season 4.

The Calculator is said to be a criminal mastermind and a technical genius. He will blackmail Harper using his advanced skills in computer science and Internet manipulation, according to TV Line. This will lead to a legendary combat with Team Arrow.

"Arrow" season 4 episode 8 will air on Dec. 2, the start of the crossover episode with "The Flash" that will air the next day, Dec. 3. The two CW hit series are backdoor episodes for DC's upcoming series "Legends of Tomorrow," which will start in January 2016. The teams will join forces to beat Casper Crump's character Vandal Savage.
