Akon has reportedly purchased a brand new residence in San Fernando Valley, Los Angeles for $2 million only to remodel it just in time for his 41st birthday.
Real estate sources told TMZ that Akon dropped the huge amount on a contemporary pad and gave the place a gut renovation to turn it into the ultimate party house.
The residence is a five-bedroom, single-family compound with floor-to-ceiling windows and an open floor plan. The rapper apparently already threw a surprise birthday party April 3 in the house.

The "Bellydancer" singer apparently did some belly dancing himself: The party was a celeb studded one. Estrella Nouri, the "Two Broke Girls" actress, also came to add glamour to the party:

Akon celebrates his actual birthday April 16, and we can't even imagine what that will look like.
Akon owns two properties in Atlanta, where pop heartthrob Justin Bieber is currently shacking up. One of his homes is in Alpharetta in the Atlanta National Country Club, while the other is located in Sandy Springs. One of the mansions, featured on MTV Cribs, has a separate pole-dance area.
