'Fossil Q Founder' Specs, Release Date, Price, Features: Android Wear With Water Resistant Body, Elegant Design, Wireless Charging Dock, And $275 Price Tag

"Fossil Q Founder" is Fossil's recently unveiled Android Wear. After collaborating with Intel, the popular watch brand was able to produce a stylish looking smartwatch with reasonable specs.

Having been teased since August, the "Fossil Q Founder" has finally been made official with a 46 mm steel chassis, elegant round display, and an IP67 certified water resistant body. Furthermore, the watch company has also prepared a few complementing apps that will allow you to load new Fossil dials. And just like many other smartwatches, the "Fossil Q Founder" also has the tracking tools for your physical activities (running, jumping, walking). There is also a tool called 'Q Curiosity' that will notify you about interesting details around you.

"Fossil Q Founder" runs Android Wear and it supports all Androids 4.4+. It also supports iOS devices from iPhone 5 and from iOS version 8.2. For the charger, the "Fossil Q Founder" has a charging dock that allows for wireless charging. It also comes with a decent battery size of 400 mAh. As amazing as all these details can be, it's unfortunate that there is no word yet regarding the screen and resolution. Hopefully it can compete with its rivals because if it does, the "Fossil Q Founder" will definitely be a big competition, especially as it comes from a trusted watch maker.

Availability of the "Fossil Q Founder" has already started in Fossil stores and the price starts at $275. The initial stocks available are probably just the stainless steel models, the leather type models are still marked to come later.

As a whole, it looks like the "Fossil Q Founder" can make a good wearable. Not only is it elegant looking, it also came from a trusted name - plus it is priced reasonably. Sure there are other more premium options, but the price also increases if you want the heftiest specs. The "Fossil Q Founder" is good enough for people looking for a very useful smartwatch, and for people who cannot settle with cheaply made and cheaply priced wearables with less than average features.
