MacBook Air 2016 Release Date Delayed? Specs, Features, Price & Speculations

Apple created another buzz again that has led many to make quick assumptions that the MacBook Pro 2016 and the MacBook Air may not be released yet. Apple's CEO, Tim Cook, indicated that the mighty iPad will eventually substitute notebooks and desktops for many consumers.

Latino Post had previously mentioned rumors about the MacBook Pro 2016 and MacBook Air being set for a release between November and December this year. Others are expecting that the latest Apple Laptops will be offered for the Black Friday. But with the latest release of the iPad Pro, many have speculated that Apple may postpone the MacBookPro 2016 and Air launching. This is to boost the revenue  of the latest tablet. As Cook has said, the company's greatest tablet ever is the iPad Pro, with a potential to replace the PC since the tablet has gradually moved into the desktop market, and serves as an alternative to huge computer units.

MacBook Air 2016 will feature a display of 13 to 15-inches, with an Intel Skylake-U processor, a tougher and better battery life, the new OS X El Capitan, Force Touch technology, and a Type-C USB port. It almost mirrored the specs of the MacBook Pro 2016 only with greater RAM. The MacBook Air 2016 is more thinner, and the 15-inch model is rumored to cost around $1,699. But again, all these are just speculations and Apple has not confirmed these yet.

Master Herald reported that one factor that has caused the delays of product launching was due to the delays in the mass production of processors (Intel's Skylake) until November and December of this year.

But if there is one good news about all these product launching talks, it is the price reduction of the existing MacBook models in the market, which can also be an indication of the incoming new generation products. With the latest Mac Code AAPL951, which obviously didn't exist previously, is a clear suggestion that MacBook Pro will soon be coming.
