'Attack on Titan' Video Game News: Koei Tecmo Updated the Roster of Playable Characters

Koei Tecmo has updated the roster of the playable characters of "Attack on Titan" video game. The company confirms that Levi and Hange Zoe are included in the "AoT" video game.

Anime News Network says that the anime cast members of the "Attack on Titan" will be reprising their roles in the video game. This information has been released in Kadokawa's Weekly Famitsu magazine stating that the characters of Levi and Hange are included in the video game adaptation of Hajime Isayama's manga of the same title.

ANN also reports that other names included in the roster of playable characters are "Eren, Mikasa, Sasha, Conny, Armin, Jean, Annie, Ymir, Krista, Reiner, Bertolt, Marco, Keith, Pyxis, Ian, and Rico." These characters will have the same voice actors of the "AoT" anime series who give life to the respective role.

Report also mentions that the "Attack on Titan" video game is set during the Battle of Trost. This means that the video game is adapted from the anime series and not from the manga, as reported by Robot 6 Comic Book Resources.

Gamers could expect that their playable characters can "walk freely around the in the barracks and town and converse with other characters, upgrade weapons, and gain intelligence on upcoming missions." In addition, "Attack on Titan" video game has a tutorial mode available. It is also expected that the battle with the flesh-eating Titans uses the 3D-maneuvering gear.

Siliconera hints that fans could expect more scans and gameplay trailers for Levi and Hange Zoe will be released soon. As officially announced by Koei Tecmo , the upcoming video game of "Attack on Titan" is scheduled for release this winter in Japan market for PlayStation consoles like PS4, PS3 and PS Vita. There is no specific date for release in North America, but it is believed to be available in the West in 2016.
