Van Halen Officially Hitting 'Rock Band 4' with Six of Their Best Songs

Van Halen DLC is officially making its way to "Rock Band" 4 this week -- with not one, not two, but a total of six of the band's best songs.

As previously reported, four new songs have been added in ever expanding song catalog of Harmonix "Rock Band 4" on Nov 16. The four new songs are multi-platinum modern track from Ed Sheeran titled "Sing" that comes bundled with Saint Raymond's "Young Blood", Vance Joy's "Rip Tide" and Walk the Moon's "Shut Up and Dance." Each track was available for $1.99. This week songs from Van Halen are coming to "Rock Band 4"

According to Polygon, the addition of Van Halen hits are aimed at fans who love rock and roll. There will be a total of 6 best songs from the legendary rock and roll band. Starting Nov 24 "Rock Band 4" fans will be able to get "Runnin' With the Devil," "Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love," "Dance the Night Away," "And the Cradle Will Rock...," "Unchained" and "Hot for Teacher" for $1.99 apiece from each console's respective store, or the six songs can be purchased all together in Van Halen Hits Pack 01 DLC at $9.99.

Harmonix has also announced that they are running a sweepstakes for Van Halen fans. In the official blog Harmonix wrote, "To celebrate this incredible pack of songs, Harmonix will be running a sweepstakes for fans from 11/23 - 11/29. The grand prize package includes: an Xbox One console, a Rock Band 4 Band-in-a-Box bundle for Xbox One, Van Halen Hits Pack 01 DLC for Rock Band 4, a set of 6 2015 CD remasters of Van Halen David Lee Roth-era albums, the Tokyo Dome Live in Concert CD, and a Tokyo Dome Live in Concert poster.
