Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin’s properties (PHOTOS)

Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin acquired more than just memories and a family in the 11 years they were married: The couple bought at least five properties while they were together.

Paltrow and Martin live in California, which requires them to divide their assets equally, unless of course they have a prenuptial.

Take a look at their properties below:

1. Malibu Estate - $14 million

Paltrow and Martin purchased this posh John Lautner-designed Malibu estate just weeks before they announced their split. The couple paid $14 million for the residence in Point Dume. The home is a 3,650-square-foot, single-family residence comprised of four bedrooms and three bathrooms.

2. Brentwood, Los Angeles Home - $9.95 million

Paltrow and Martin dropped $9.95 million on a stunning property in Brentwood, Los Angeles in 2012. Designers Martyn Lawrence Bullard and Peter Dunham were roped in to give each room of the residence featured in "The Veranda Concept House" magazine a makeover. The home spans an area of 7,000 square feet and has six bedrooms and eight bathrooms.

3. Santa Monica Apartment - $1.8 million

The Santa Monica apartment located at 101 Ocean Avenue Building is a two-bedroom, two-bathroom condo apartment. Listing records show the home last sold in 2007 for $1.8 million. The residence's building amenities include car wash services, separate men's and women's saunas and dog-walking services. There is a rooftop Jacuzzi overlooking the ocean from where residents can enjoy views like this one:

4. East Hamptons Residence - $5.4 million

The East Hamptons home located at 35 Old Montauk Highway - not far from where Paltrow's mother lives - was purchased for $5.4 million by Paltrow and Martin in 2006 under a trust called "Orchard House LLC."

5. Tribeca Apartment - $5.5 million

In 2007, there were several reports claiming Paltrow and Martin dropped a little over $5 million on an apartment in the River Lofts Development in Tribeca, Manhattan. The unit spans an area of 3,892 square feet and has three bedrooms and three full and one half bathrooms.

Both Paltrow and Martin made it on the 2013 Forbes list of highest earning celebrities, with the former landing at the 71st spot and the latter at spot number 14. The couple is now heading for a rumored $280 million divorce settlement.
