Anime News: ‘One Piece Adventure of Nebulandia’ Special Preview Released [VIDEO]

A new anime special preview for the announced feature-length 'One Piece, Adventure of Nebulandia' anime was released today.

Crunchyroll reported that the original special 'Adventure of Nebulandia' will feature the return of the Foxy Pirates as they battle the Strawhats Pirates for the third time. The battle will happen in an island in the New World that nullifies the power of all devil fruit users. Foxy Pirates was also joined by new crew mates that include Dôjaku, Kanshô and tactical genius Kômei.

As you can remember, Foxy Pirates were utterly defeated by the Straw hat Pirates in the past 'Davy Back Fight'. This would be the first appearance of Foxy and his crew after the time-skip.

According to the short summary of One Piece Wikia, Zoro and Sanji was poisoned by a 'good-for-nothing shroom' that suddenly plagued them with laziness and subsequently thrown into cage. The rest of straw hat crew went to Nebulandia to save the two. What they didn't know is that all of that was just a part of the plan devised by the genius tactician Komei. First, he neutralizes the two most formidable fighting powers of the straw hat pirates. Then, he lured them to the island covered in mist of sea water that renders all abilities of devil fruit users.

The theme song to be used in the new special is "Black Make Up," a newly recorded song by 38-year-old J-Pop singer Namie Amuro.

In the November 21 issue of Weekly Shounen Jump in Japan, it is revealed that there would be a big 'One Piece' announcement that will close the broadcast of the 'One Piece, Adventure of Nabulandia'.

The last big 'One Piece' announcement was done last summer after the broadcast of the One Piece - Episode of Sabo TV announcing the 2016 One Piece movie that will be available on summer of next year.

The 'One Piece, Adventure of Nebulandia' will be aired from 9 p.m. to 11:10 p.m. on December 19 on Fuji TV Network.
