Sylvester Stallone Nominates Ryan Gosling To Play Rambo -- If There Would Be A New Rambo Film, That Is

Sylvester Stallone nominated rom-com heartthrob Ryan Gosling to play "Rambo" in the movie of the same name.

According to Suntimes, although there is no confirmed news yet if there would be a new "Rambo" movie, the "dream casting will get the ball rolling."

Stallone was asked about who could replace his "testosterone-fueled" "Rambo" franchise if it will be rebooted while doing press for his upcoming "Rocky" spin-offs. Suntimes further stated that the actor was initially hesitatant to drop names on who could take his place as the new "Rambo".

He eventually nominated Gosling to play "Rambo" if there would be a chance to have a new "Rambo" movie for release.

Yibada stated that Gosling responded to Stallone's nomination after he heard about the news, and he was really surprised. Gosling immediately told CinemaBlend how much he admired Stallone and how he considered him as one of his favourite actors.

"[Stallone] is one of my favourite actors. Just the fact that he knows my name is exciting ... He's the best, I'm genuinely touched that he said that," Gosling said.

Meanwhile, Stallone, 69, has been busy promoting his new Rocky film "Creed". While he was exiting in trendy Polo bar in New York City, he showed off his newly tanned skin.

His whole face and neck as well as his hands were all tanned, which, according to the Daily Mail UK, he had acquired after visiting one of the warmer cities during his film promotion.

The "Rocky" movie is Stallone's seventh movie and the first franchise's creator and the first film he didn't write. But that doesn't mean he didn't have any involvement with the film at all.

"What I did is put a certain spin on Rocky's dialogue, because Rocky has a very convoluted way with a sentence: 'Hey, you know, I'm dumb, and you're shy. We make a couple of nice coconuts, you know?' So when Adonis is looking in the mirror, I say, 'I think the toughest guy you're gonna fight, you're looking at him," said Stallone.

"Creed" opens this coming November 25.
