English Actor and Martial Artist Scott Adkins Joins 'Doctor Strange' For a Mystery Role

English actor and Martial artist Scott Adkins is joining the cast and crew of Marvel's Doctor Strange.

"Doctor Strange" is a film that follows Stephen Strange, a brilliant but arrogant neurosurgeon, after the catastrophic end of his career. He encounters a sorcerer who trains him to become the next Sorcerer Supreme defending the earth against threats of evil.

According to Unreality TV, While Benedict Cumberbatch takes the role of the titular sorcerer, the other members of the cast include Tilda Swinton as the Ancient One Strange's mentor and Chiwetel Ejiofor as Strange's enemy Baron Mordo. The actors Rachel McAdams, Mads Mikkelsen, Michael Stuhlbarg and Amy Landecker are also confirmed cast of the Marvel's "Doctor Strange" but their roles are still a mystery to fans.

As for the 39-year-old Scott Adkins, the film's latest addition, his role is still under wraps but knowing that he is a martial artist known for his roles in "Undisputed II: Last Man Standing" as "Undisputed III: Redemption" as Yuri Boyka, he could be playing the role of someone strong and mascular. According to Design and Trend, he has also starred in "Holby City" as Bradley Hume, "Mile High" as Ed Russell and "The Expendables 2" as Hector.

According to IGN, still little is known about the entire plot of "Doctor Strange" but producer Kevin Feige has spilled, "I think 'Dr. Strange' would kick ass. I think we've done very well at the superhero genre, if you will, this street level superhero aspect of the Marvel Universe."

He Continued, "I think with Thor you'll see us cracking into the cosmic side of the Marvel Universe in a very good way that's never been done before in our movies and I'd love to get into that supernatural element. I think that Dr. Strange could be a good way of being the lynchpin to that universe with Werewolf by Night, with Blade again someday - that side of the Marvel Universe."

And with that, many fans are now more than excited to see "Doctor Strange" in theaters on  4 November 2016.
