Rihanna News: The Singer Denies 'MaRihanna' Marijuana Business Venture

Will Rihanna launch a full line of Marijuana products before she releases her eighth studio album?

According to 18KaratReggae via Daily Mirror, the "Bitch Better Have My Money" singer was set to start a marijuana business venture named "MaRihanna by Rihanna." The article stated, "MaRihanna by Rihanna is truly the first mainstream cannabis brand in the world and proud to be a pioneer." The alleged marijuana line was set to feature different variants of weed and in various forms like edibles and oils. The article on the website further stated that this was set to be released next year, and that it was going to be available in parts of the United States where weed was legal.

The "Rated R" singer's reps denied this to New York Magazine, and dispelled the news by saying that it was "completely untrue." Rihanna has always been rumored to be a regular smoker of marijuana and back in 2013, she posted a photo of her allegedly smoking weed with the caption #legalizeit.

Just a few hours ago, the singer launched ANTIdiaRY -- a website created by Rihanna and Samsung. Complex reported that the website gives fans of the artist an inside look of her upcoming and highly anticipated album "Anti," and it features a diary that has yet to be unlocked. The website is managed by tech giant Samsung, of which Rihanna signed a $25M contract with just recently. This "special partnership" will be formally announced at the upcoming American Music Awards.

Although no official date has been set for Rihanna's album release, several news outlets reported that her album might be dropped on the same day as her ex Chris Brown's. If these reports are true, then fans can expect "Anti" to be released on the 27th of November.
