New Lenovo Vibe X3 Features, Specs and Highlights; Comes with a Fingerprint Sensor

Vibe X3 is the latest smartphone of Lenovo unveiled in China and comes with a fingerprint sensor. The device has three variants and have the same screen size. The first two higher-end models share the same processor, while the third one has a "Youth" version with a slightly weaker processor.

According to Neurogadget, Vibe X3 has a similar design with its predecessor, the X2, but it has a round shape as compared to the sharp edge of the X2. The device weighs 175 grams, measures 154x76.5x9.3mm, and it features a 5.5-inch IPS LCD screen with a full HD resolution at 401 pixels. Right under the rear camera on the back, sits a fingerprint scanner. The three variants of the device have some common features, such as the three TI OPA1612 amplifiers and Dolby Audio. Additionally, the device also features Cirrus Logic WM8281 codec that handles the echo and noise.

The two higher-end models of Vibe X3 are powered by a hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor and 3GB of RAM. Both have a 23MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera. The battery of the higher-end variants has a capacity of 3,600 mAh. The internal memory has two variants of 32GB and 64GB.

The third model of the Vibe X3 is powered by the octa-core MediaTek processor which is slower than the higher-end models and runs at 1.3GHz and has 2GB of RAM. Its rear and front cameras are weaker compared to the higher-end models with resolutions of only 13MP and 5MP. The battery of the third variant has a capacity of 3,400 mAh.

Lenovo has unveiled three variants of the Vibe X3 smartphone in China on Monday. All the models are now available in China for pre-orders. Both variants sport a fingerprint sensor at the rear panel just below the camera. The models both come with hybrid dual-SIM slots and feature 4G LTE connectivity support, as reported by NDTV.

The two higher-end variants of the Vibe X3 come with 32GB and 64GB built-in storages, while the youth variant comes with a 16GB built-in storage.
