‘Orange is the New Black’ Season 4 Spoilers: Matt McGorry Dishes Details on His Character Benett, Compares it with Asher on 'How to Get Away with Murder'

The premiere date of "Orange is the New Black" Season 4 has not been set, but fans have already been treated with various spoilers on the upcoming season via news online. Recently, Matt McGorry dished details on his character Benett, who seemed to have disappeared in Season 3. He compared his policeman character in the show to his role in "How to Get Away with Murder," where he plays the aspiring lawyer Asher.

Melty reports that in an interview with Today, McGorry said that juggling two popular shows is not difficult for him because his characters on the two TV series are very different.

"It actually helps that they're that different, because there's never any moment where I'm like 'this feels more like Bennett or this feels more like Asher.' They're pretty delineated in my mind and I think that if there was something a little more in the middle, it might bleed over, but they are very different," the actor said.

The report further stated that it is still not confirmed if Benett will be returning to "Orange is the New Black" for Season 4. According to Melty, when they previously interviewed the actor about it, he revealed no detail about the character's fate. McGorry has also previously told news outlets that he himself doesn't know yet if his character will be back in the Netflix series.

Meanwhile, in other news, it's also still unknown if Ruby Rose's character Stella will be back in Season 4. The actress rose to fame when she joined the hit series, and her character came in between Piper (Taylor Schilling) and Alex (Laura Prepon).

However, in Season 3, she was sent off to Maximum Security, which leaves the fate of the character open-ended. Rose previously told Variety that she's willing to reprise her role in Season 4. However, the production of "Orange is the New Black" has reportedly started in New York, "and I'm obviously not in those episodes," she said.

"Orange is the New Black" Season 4 is expected to premiere on Netflix in June 2016.
